Overview
Kairon Systems LLC operates this website and the numb_cged interactive demonstration. We aim to collect and retain only the information reasonably necessary to operate, protect, and demonstrate the service.
Hosting and technical information
The Kairon Systems website is hosted on infrastructure provided by InterServer, Inc. Operating the website may involve processing ordinary technical request information such as IP address, requested resource, request time, browser or operating-system information, and error or security events.
This information may be processed as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the website and its public demonstrations.
Website use
The website does not currently provide user accounts, advertising, or first-party behavioral analytics. Website assets, including fonts, stylesheets, and JavaScript, are served directly by Kairon rather than loaded from third-party browser services.
When the website is publicly hosted, ordinary server and infrastructure logs may process technical information such as IP address, request time, requested resource, browser information, errors, and security events. This section will be updated if the selected hosting environment materially changes those practices.
Demo sessions
numb_cged uses a browser session to keep one visitor's demonstration state separate from another visitor's demonstration state. Kairon generates the repository identity used by the demonstration; visitors do not select their own repository identity.
The browser session uses identifiers needed to maintain the demonstration, authorize requests, apply usage limits, and authorize proof downloads. The session is not intended to identify a visitor by name.
Demo commands and runtime records
Commands submitted to numb_cged may become part of the demonstration's continuity history. The demonstration may create continuity records and substrate-result records associated with the visitor's session-specific repository.
Because submitted command text may be recorded as part of demonstration history, visitors should not enter passwords, financial information, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information into the demonstration.
Retention
Session-specific continuity and substrate runtime records are retained for up to 24 hours after activity associated with that repository. Continued use of the demonstration refreshes that retention period.
Generated proof artifacts are retained for up to 24 hours after they are created or registered for download. Expired runtime records and proof artifacts are automatically removed through the website's runtime-cleanup process.
Proof and OpenTimestamps
The proof feature is optional and runs only when a visitor explicitly requests it. When proof is requested, numb_cged creates downloadable proof artifacts associated with the visitor's demonstration state.
The proof process may submit a cryptographic commitment derived from the proof package to external OpenTimestamps calendar servers. The proof package itself is not submitted to those calendars by the Kairon website.
OpenTimestamps is an external timestamping system and operates independently of Kairon Systems. OpenTimestamps describes its calendar servers as accepting timestamping commitments without requiring registration or an API key.
Abuse prevention and security
Kairon uses technical controls intended to protect the demonstration and limit misuse, including session separation, request validation, rate limits, restricted proof downloads, temporary runtime retention, and browser security policies.
No security measure can guarantee absolute security. These controls are intended to reduce unnecessary exposure and keep the public demonstration within its designed operating boundaries.
